How to get your Jamaica citizenship?

If you’re going on a fact-finding before relocating, you don’t need a visa. Jamaica has abolished visa requirements for certain countries. If you need to stay longer or if your country of origin requires visa before entering Jamaica, then you have to apply at the Jamaica mission.

Entry visa is sufficient for short business trips, however you need a letter from the employer stating the visit purpose. If you relocate for an employment, then you need a work permit as well.

Every country has its own laws and they decide whether a person can hold citizenship in two or more countries. The country accepts dual nationals. People willing to become citizens of Jamaica should check whether their country allows dual nationality.
